Method

    Season the Fish

    Rub the fish with turmeric and salt and let it sit for five minutes.

    Fry the Fish Lightly

    Fry the pieces in hot mustard oil for two minutes a side, then lift them out.

    In the same oil, fry onion, ginger, garlic and tomato into a soft masala.
